I was so excited!! Wednesday night, on The O'Reilly Factor on FoxNews, my email was read by Bill O'Reilly during his mail section!! This is the #1 rated cable news show on the #1 rated cable news channel and MY email was read!
It was about the health care bill and how I've read most of it and am completely confused!!
I had a great time and am grateful that I made it! Thanks for everything.....and now if I was paying attention to Amy - I am going to try to include a picture!
Hope everyone had a good holiday!! It was a fun one here in MD. As you can see, we had some delicious apple pie. I managed to get my nanny's recipe, and now she's got some competition!!
We spent the afternoon playing games and crabbing with friends. This guy was our only catch. We were feeling generous so we gave him to some fellow crabbers on the dock.
After that, we packed up the back of the truck and headed down the street for a barbecue. As you can see from Dave's thumbs up out of the driver's window, he was pretty pumped.
And of course we watched fireworks. We can see the fireworks set off from barges by the Naval Academy from the water in our apartment complex. As for music to go along with the show, all the boaters played along with their horns.
Kevin and Diana came over for some late night grilling action. The four of us golfed the next day. We might not have been the best golfers on the course, but we certainly were the best looking! :)

We went to Las Vegas and Riverside, CA last month. We visited the Reagan Library which was fascinating!!
Papa and Sophia Grace - she is deliciously yummy!!
Soph's favorite auntie - Jane
"She feeds me, she has to be the favorite"!
Ashley, Scott, and spoiled princess - just as she should be :-)
short little hike in the hills above Palo Alto
2,400 miles of family, golf, new sites, yummy food. Even though our road trip (rare!!) for Scott's graduation was a lot of fun, it renewed our love of flying!!
Ashley is back to work full time for Stanford Research, nanny watches Soph 1/2 days while Scott studies for the bar, then he is mr. mom in the afternoon. Scott will go to Colorado the last 2 weeks of July for uninterrupted study time and take the bar on the 29th. He has accepted a position with Gibson Dunn in Denver. They plan to be there for 4-5 years on a fast track to pay off law school, then possibly relocate..........to Boise? We can hope!!
Here are pictures of my tomato plants that I planted May 17th. I am using my upside down planters which supposedly grow the best tomatoes. My brother Douglas also has a set of the planters and I challenged him to a contest to see who can grow the best tomatoes. I am throwing this challenge out to the remainder of the family. Post your pictures and statistics (weight of the biggest tomato, color, diameter, etc.) Send me a tomato if you want a taste evaluation (Overnight shipping please in a strong container). I will be the final judge. I will be objective. I promise.
