SCOTT'S GRADUATION

short little hike in the hills above Palo Alto
2,400 miles of family, golf, new sites, yummy food. Even though our road trip (rare!!) for Scott's graduation was a lot of fun, it renewed our love of flying!!
Ashley is back to work full time for Stanford Research, nanny watches Soph 1/2 days while Scott studies for the bar, then he is mr. mom in the afternoon. Scott will go to Colorado the last 2 weeks of July for uninterrupted study time and take the bar on the 29th. He has accepted a position with Gibson Dunn in Denver. They plan to be there for 4-5 years on a fast track to pay off law school, then possibly relocate..........to Boise? We can hope!!

Great Tomato Challenge
Here are pictures of my tomato plants that I planted May 17th. I am using my upside down planters which supposedly grow the best tomatoes. My brother Douglas also has a set of the planters and I challenged him to a contest to see who can grow the best tomatoes. I am throwing this challenge out to the remainder of the family. Post your pictures and statistics (weight of the biggest tomato, color, diameter, etc.) Send me a tomato if you want a taste evaluation (Overnight shipping please in a strong container). I will be the final judge. I will be objective. I promise.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Diana and I went to the Pirates game last week in DC against the Nationals.
All of our friend definitely questioned why we wanted to see the Buccos play, and my usual response was just showing my tattoo on my foot(for those of you who don't know it's a Pirate's P).
Once at the game, we had a great time bribing the ushers, eating chili nachos and watching the Nationals throw a wild pitch in the top of the ninth to give up the winning run.
,
Also, for those of you who do not know, my girlfriend,Diana, is on the right in this picture. The girl in the middle is someone I work with, and since being down here,we have become great friends. Hope everyone is doing well. Much love from Virginia.
Love,
Kevin and Diana

Ciao da Milano.
Hello from Milan. I have been on the road this week and I just wanted to send a hello to everyone. I have been working with my friend Marco Battezzati and he says hello especially to Debbie. Debbie has a crush on Marco. When he was in Pittsburgh he came to dinner. He kissed Debbie on both cheeks and she has not been the same since.
School Picnic Day
This is a picture where Debbie and I met six years ago. For those of you that are not Western Pennsylvania residents I don't know how important school picnics are. Each year we go to a local amusement park (Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh) and have a great family picnic. I have been doing this since I was 14 years old. I went with May's family for many years. Deb and I still go with Sue's (May's sister) family. Actually this is the last year that any of us will have any kids in school. Next year I still think we will go anyway. Anyway, the weather was beautiful this year and we had a lot of great food. As I said Debbie and I met by the merry-go-round six years ago. I was there with Sue and family and friends. The friends were mutual friends with Deb. And the rest is history.
